Road Sweeping Castlebar

Hey all,the ring roads around Castlebar are filthy,why wont the town Road Sweeper do the Moneen road or N5.Its a fairly new road sweeper (09-M0),does damm all apart from the same Streets each morning.

are they allowed on to the national routes?

The sweeper is run by the town council and the ring roads are outside the town boundary. Given that MCC and the TC are headquartered in the same building it's madness really but budgets aren't.
