    Check this seller..

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-x-125ml-Anti-Slip-Shower-Tray-Paint-Jet-Black-Bath-Antislip-/290649159280?pt=UK_DIY_Material_Paint_Varnish_MJ&hash=item43ac0a3670

i know the above is in black but there are white paints listed. Much cheaper. Buy good quality roller and make sure bath is clean and smooth (sand if necessary).

I wouldnt get the above paint even in white, its textured finish, which probably means it has very fine sand in it to make it anti-slip....

You might find cheaper version on Ebay though...

In all my years in the plumbing industry i can guarantee you will not paint a bath successfully unless you are just painting the outside.

An acrylic or steel bath will need to be professionally sprayed and this is a serious business. Not DIY

Also if the bath is full of scale which i am just guessing it is this will have to be sanded and keyed.

A lot of bathroom companies have come and gone that do this so i cannot rec one. I only ever see them worth doing on a bath you would not throw away like for example a cast iron bath.

Ive seen professional sprayed baths and in no time they just flake(Maybe down to the prep). I got one done with that Tubby white paint and it looked ten times better than the sprayed version....

As long as you prepare the bath properly and mask off everything including taps and grating you should be ok. Plus make sure you have good
    ventilation when applying it...

I know of one company that charges 175euro to spray a bath, sure it would nearly be better off in some cases to pay for a new bath fitted, yes it might be cost more than spraying but nothing like a new bath.

Does any one have a name of someone who could re-finish a steel bath?

The narrower a man’s mind, the broader his statements.

I used a tubby resurfacing kit to resurface our bath about two years ago. Came up a treat and still looks great. I've seen baths that have been done by the spray companies and I reckon the finish with the kit is better possibly because it's rolled on and the saving is huge
