Me want good action/adventure game

    Hi I've gotten bored of my christmas games by now and I'm looking for a good 3rd person xbox 360 game. I'm sick of shooters and I have skyrim and saints row 3. Also, I'm one of the rare few that doesn't like Assassin's Creed.
    If possible I'm looking for games similar to these (some of them are oldies):

    Star Wars Force Unleashed II
    The old Crash Bandicoots (back in the day)
    the old Spyro The Dragons
    Ratchet and Clank (most of them)
    Jak and Daxter 1

    Any suggestions?

    Darksiders would get my vote, I still think its the best third person adventure of this generation. You'll pick it up for a tenner in most places too.

    Saints Row 2 is a hell of a lot better than 3 imo

    Why not try Fable or Red Dead?

    Red Dead is one of the best games I have ever or will ever play in my life. Bioshock 1 and 2 are also very good.

    Me too - found the controls a bit different - but played in a dark room - just excellent.

    Seemed short at the end and very under-rated but I definitely enjoyed it.
    My brother though who was into Resident Evil etc couldn't stand it...

    Enslaved, a hidden gem that I really liked. You can pick it up real cheap on Amazon, well worth it imo.

    Seeing as Mass Effect 3 is almost upon us, Mass Effect 1 and 2 are well worth a punt if it's 3rd person you're after. The second is more action packed and shooting than the first. The first starts off slow but give it time, at least 1-2 hrs and it blosoms.

    GTA San Andreas - Download from Live Marketplace - 2.8GB. 1200 Points.
    I got it a few days ago and have hardly played anything else since.
    Its quite simply a masterpiece.

    Still looks great too....albeit for a few blocky looking wheels etc here and there....

    Try RAGE. It a Zombie shooter with racing cars as well. Takes a while to finish.

    get the Megadrive Ultimate Collection, there's some great classic platformers like Dynamite Heady, Decap Attack & Kid Chameleon on it.
