    Can a parking ticket be issued on a motorcycle. Can a motorcycle be parked on footpath?

    Well I don't really have any answers for you - my gut instinct would be that the same rules apply as do for cars, but I'm no expert. Anyway, the link below might be of more use to you

    Can a motorcycle be parked on footpath?
    No vehicle is meant to be parked on a footway unless it is a designated parking place.

    Where was the ticket issued? Some towns don't allow parking of motorcycles in pay and display bays, Dublin being one, and with the non provision of motorcycle parking bays you may be able to appeal.

    While that's the law you'll find most places don't ticket bikes unless there are causing an obstruction, for which they should rightly be ticketed.
