What is the situation regarding when a person moves in with a significant other? I cant find anything regarding it?

Does the unemployed person still sign on and can they depending on financial circumstances still get some allowance (JS) if they are seeking employment?

The unemployed person should notify their sw office that they are now co-hab and if OH is working then the claimant will have to have their means reviewed and means from OH will be assessed and claimant may retain all or some or none of their jsa depending on the earnings of OH. Claimant should continue to sign until means are reviewed. If claimant is no longer entitled to payment then claimant can sign for credits if they have an entitlement to do so.

thats mostly what I was thinking about signing for credits, I assumed that would still be necessary, otherwise they would not know you had not emigrated.
If one person in the relationship ends up staying at home to look after a baby, i assume they still sign? I presume not for unemployment but for record purposes or would they be entitled to anything?
(the baby isnt around yet, just found out, so months away, just asking in advance)

It all depends on how much their partner is earning. If they arent entitled to anything they can sign for credits providing they are still available for work.

Theres also a homemakers scheme which also count towards your credits.

If you are staying at home looking after a baby and not looking for work you cannot sign for for credits as you still have to be looking for work in order to sign for credits.
Your OH may be able to claim for family income supplement after baby is born... see link below
