On my mk1 focus having problem with central locking, its the front passengers side door causing the problem, if i try to lock with button on key all doors lock then unlock straight away, although if i lock the front passengers door myself then the central locking works on the other doors, ive checked all wires in door and all looks ok....any idea what could be causing this problem?

Close all the doors and look inside the car at each of the lock buttons at the handle of the doors.
Press the button on the key and see which ones are moving, one of them will probably be stuck and is not moving and the problem will be with that locking mechanism.

The mechanisms on these are prone to seizing. Remove the door card on the passengers door and locate the various parts of the mechanism, most particularly in the area of the lock itself. Give it a good dose of WD40 and activate, activate, activate. Dose again with WD40 and repeat until it's sorted.

Now, if there is no life at all in it, that's a different matter.
