Gmail email going straight to all mail folder, not inbox

Hi. Recently some of my gmail emails are going straight to the All Mail folder and not my inbox. This seems to be a well known problem but i haven't seen any solution. Incidentally, this only happens on my Gmail app on my Android phone, not on my PC. I don't have any filtering set up and i haven't changed any settings…

Hi.
Recently some of my gmail emails are going straight to the All Mail folder and not my inbox.
This seems to be a well known problem but i haven't seen any solution.

Incidentally, this only happens on my Gmail app on my Android phone, not on my PC.
I don't have any filtering set up and i haven't changed any settings (forwarding etc) on my gmail account.

I've looked at alternative email clients for Android like K9 and Droidmail but i'm not mad about either.

Any help much appreciated.
