Fantasy Flat Family Log

Been thinking of doing this for a while, I often notice when checking results that trainers and jockeys of the same family can supply some tastily priced winners or placed horses, seemingly for no other reason than that they obviously know the animal very well. Think of the Millmans, the Hills, etc.

So I'm going to do a little fantasy log. I will start with 100 points. I'll be betting blind, 5 points on any horse that qualifies guaranteeing a minimum of 20 bets. That should be enough to know whether to have a go with real bucks or not.

Stakes will be split for e/w betting on 6/1 or over on 1/4 odds races, 8/1 or over on 1/5 odds races. All prices will be PP.

    Lingfield 2.00 Australia Fair (Hills) 5pts @ 4/1

    4.00 Synthe Davis (Mongans) 2.5pts e/w @ 11/1

    Kempton 7.40 Masai Moon (Millmans) 2.5pts e/w @ 14/1

Looking through the jumps cards for tomorrow, there's a heap of family trained and ridden horses running. If anyone else wanted to keep a track of these it could be interesting.

Only Masai Moon managed to do anything today, finishing a close second.

    Balance 94.5pts.

Clean Bowled won, O Brien's horse second last. +4 pts for the day. It being a paper log I toyed with including Clean Bowled's last win too but for the sake of discipline I'll leave it out.

Just the one today as far as I can see.

    Ling 2.15 Haadeeth 2.5 pts e/w @14/1 (Evans)

Posting after the race but had it beforehand. Second last.

    Bank 58.5 ( I think - open to correction, I'm still hungover)
