Can you start French Beans now?

    I know French beans are tender and probably best started in April but can you start them off now indoors with a view to moving them into a tunnel for early crop? I have dwarf French beans.

    Personally I think it's too early, I get the idea but if we have a hard late frost this year than you could end up with a ruined crop, either leggy or dead.

    You could start an early broad bean crop instead?

    Thanks for that. I'll wait till next month so. No interest in the broadbeans, pity, they can be started very early I believe.
