I have an external lamp mounted on my garage - It's a 55w Sox lamp and
gives great light at night in our yard but yesterday it failed and I have tried a new bulb and a new light sensor and no good so I think the unit itself has failed and I will need to replace it - is a new Sox lamp still a good option to get ?
Looking for good light and also energy efficient.

you could attempt a repair if new fittings are expensive

it's usually ignitor if bulb and photocell are ok

    depends on the cost
