Hi, I'm looking to do some thing like this. I 18 nearly nineteen. Very thin and quite small so I wouldn't be much of a fight. Just want to learn for self defense and fitness. Is there classes I could go to but I'm not sure where. I live in sathill

there are very good clubs close to you in westside. Pat mc Evoy has classes in the boxing Club (Thai Boxing and Amateur Boxing) and Denis Brosnan runs Galway Kickboxing Club in Westside Community Centre.

Might wanna check out www.blackdragon.ie in Galway too. Pete Foley runs the place and he's a very well respected coach and holds most of the male and female IKF champs there. It's a full time gym with classes on 6 days a week too. Best of luck with your search and mostly your training.

Blackdragon is a very good gym on the Tuam Rd, also former World champ Ken Horan has a brand new gym in glenrock ind est off the Tuam rd also you wont go wrong with either
