    1x2 Matrix A =

    [(5) (-2i)]

What is the complex conjugate and Hermitian conjugate of this matrix?

    ANS:

    D^T =
    5
    -2i

    D^H =
    5
    +2i

What do you think of my answers?

the answers you gave are the transpose and hermitian conjugate?

The complex conjugate should not be transposed - just take the negative of the complex term.

As for the Hermitian - I think they mean what Wolfram calls a Conjugate Transpose i.e. transposed complex conjugate. The terminology is not consistent, so I'm not sure.

Thanks, yes I accidentally hadn't typed in the complex conjugate.
