Sorry but what an absolute pr!ck, who behaves like that?

I know you're hurting but you will be over him much quicker after that behavior and never look back.

It's probably bringing back all the hurt of the previous break-up. Lean on your friends and family for support. You will get over it. I'm not going to give you any of the 'take up a hobby / get back out there' advice that I totally believe works because you are too raw, it's too recent and you are most likely in shock.

Just be really nice to yourself, avoid stressful situations and don't try to speak to the ex for a week or two until you're feeling stronger.

    Best of luck.

What an asshole! Anyone who behaves like this after a minor argument really isnt someone who you want to be with long term. He is clearly very immature an spiteful. The fact that he couldnt even say it to your face that it was over speaks volumes about his charachter imo.
I know it doesnt seem like it now but you are better off without someone like this and at least you have found out now, after 6 months rather than a few years down the line when you would have alot more invested in the relationship.
Just be good to yourself, lean on your friends/family, talk about how your feeling and try not to lock yourself away at home feeling sorry about it all. I know its temptoing but its far better for you to try and get out, see friends and keep busy.
Take care, i hope your feeling better soon.
Btw, the fact that he has walked in a similar manner to your ex is no reflection on you as a person, but more on them. Showing them to be immature pathetic excuses for men.
