cabin baggage

    Just a quick question, flying with aer lingus to london only brining 10kg bag on board, does it have to be checked in cause when i go to check in on line it saying i need to check in bag and pay 15euro. thought hand luggage was free Thanks in advance

    It's all on their website, and not exactly hard to find.

    10kg limit for cabin baggage. You can carry extra items such as a handbag or laptop. Seemples.

    You dont need to check in bag online just carry it on to the plane.

    checked the site dosent give the option for cabin luggage just saying check bag equals 15 euro.

    There should be an option (drop down menu maybe?) to select "no checked in bag".

    ETA - I'm guessing here, haven't done a flight booking/checkin in a while so can't exactly picture the site layout, but I've usually only brought hand luggage and seem to remember de-selecting the checked baggage option.
