Can you get BTEA if........

To recieve the BTEA you must be embarking on a course of a higher level than you have done previously. Now what I want to know is: what if you have done a course at a certain level but not completed it? Can you do another course at that same level and recieve BTEA?
For example, you've begun a course at level 5, you had to drop out but now wish to do a different course at level 5, will you recieve BTEA?

Yes, as long as the previous course wasn't also through the BTEA. If the previous course was through BTEA, you may be able to, depending on your full circumstances, reason why you dropped out etc.

1.14.8 Drop out of course

A BTEA participant who fails to complete, or drops out of a course will not be permitted on to the scheme to pursue a different course unless the Department is satisfied that certain circumstances pertain. The condition may be waived where there are mitigating circumstances, for which evidence must be provided, that would make it unreasonable to expect a person to have continued the course. Recovery of amounts paid may be considered.
