basically it wont charge and ive bought new chargers and they just dont work, nothing will power up, is it worth repairing? whats wrong? will it be cheap?

Will it run with the battery removed?

When you say out of action, is it that it died or just wasn't being used?

If does not give any signs of life - no lights at all and you are confident about the charger it means power jack or motherboard issue

difficult to say power jack replacement is cheap (30euro replaced) but motherboard fix can be anything between 30 up to the price of new motherboard (90-140) what is the exact model? I could have a look for you if there are any common problems with this motherboard so you have a better view at your options/chances. Check if your power jack is not loose or there are no visible damages when you look inside it.

This is not diagnosis but it looks like these models had a lot of problems with certain short circuiting small components on motherboard which are relativelly easy and cheap to get but diagnosis is quite difficult. Reason for them to fail ware usually problems with power jack. I'd say you could get away with around 70e for repair. If your charger has diode light, check if it is not blinking after you plug it into the laptop.
