where is my taskbars gone

    how do I restore my taskbar? even the start button has dissapeared. help

    Try bringing your mouse down to the bottom of the screen and see if it pops up. If it does or doesn't right click at bottom of screen and select properties you will see boxs there to check or uncheck for taskbar.

    Do you have a "windows" key on your keyboard? If you press that does it show up? If it does you can right click and select properties on the Start button. There should be a Task Bar tab. Click on that and "Lock the taskbar" should be checked.

    Has explorer crashed? Check in task manager using Ctrl+Alt+Del to get to it. If it has, just type explorer in the run program field.

    It may have disappeared too. Check at the bottom of the screen for a lip, your mouse pointer will change shape. Drag it upwards.
