Thanks Man but that doesn't really show enough detail (for me anyways). That's a whole LCD replace, as I said it' just the glass that's cracked the LCD screen is fine. When I press down on the crack it doesn't affect the screen in anyway....

Chinese guy in Bray (near the dart station), fixed my HTC desire a year ago. Very good and very reasonable. He's got a shop down the narrow alley beside the railway. His number is 01-204-1672

You can't* replace the digitiser on the SGS2, you need to replace the whole screen. You can buy the whole front section of the phone for ~£125 delivered and its easy to replace. You just stitch over one board into the new section and refit the back cover with a couple of screws.

New "screen" top, board in the middle, old screen on the bottom

*its bonded to the screen so very easy to mess it up. I doubt anywhere will do it for you and it would probably invalidate your warranty

    Thanks Lads,

The crack is fairly 'invisble'. I showed it to loads of people and they kept asking where it was!!

I see there is a guy on Adverts.ie who will replace it for €120. Think I'l do that, won't run the risk of doing it myself!! :D

On another note, it's pretty annoying that you have to replace the whole screen even though only the outer glass is cracked!!
