Mac Lion snapping at Windows

    I thought this was funny, haven't seen it before and still new to Mac. Anyway, Windows laptop on the home network is represented by a Windows Blue Screen of Death info pane.

    That’s been the icon for windows computers for years - not sure if it’s been there since the first OS X release, but certainly from 10.3 or so.

    Haven’t seen it for ages (no Windows machines on my LAN), but it still looks great.

    It’s a similar in-joke to the system sound Sosumi, which has been there since the launch of Macintosh System 7 in 1991.

    Thanks for the details on it. It does seem to be a poke at Microsoft. I read about the Sosumi thing before, it was in the autobiography book.
