New Jurassic pterosaur from (where else) China

    It's name is Jianchagnathus robustus and was part of the scaphognathid family. The specimen is about 116 cms (wingspan) but probably could grow quite a bit larger since it was not yet fully grown. Check out the teeth!

    Oh and in case you didn´t find out, there was recently another Jurassic pterosaur from China, Qinglongopterus, which was a small guy; only 33.4 cms (wingspan). It too was a rhamphorhynchid.
    BTW, I resized the images but it seemingly didn´t work, sorry about that :S
