At 100 million years old, they are the oldest known specimens of family Oonopidae, which still exists today, and they belong to the genus Orchestina, of which specimens have also been found in France. The spiders were studied using tomography, but out of the three specimens, only one could be identified as a new species due to its being a male (seemingly, females lack certain characters that help identifying Oonopid spiders).
