I'm sure they are very comfortable shoes but all their styles look like what that kid in school used to wear ,you know, the kid, that wasn't quite right.

That's nonsense - Ecco have a huge range of shoes now. The perception that their style is compromised because they are comfortable is way out of date. If you can't find something you like these days it's because you don't want to.

That said, I wouldn't judge their stuff on what you're likely to pick up in a basket in the Ilac center.

It's opposite the entrance to Debenham's or down from the Library heading towards Mary Street, on the right hand side.

I'll second that, I never bothered looking at them before, but at 65 quid, and really comfortable, and they look pretty good too, i couldn't say no. So i picked up a pair of boots and for 65 and can only report good things about them.

They don't just do "special" looking shoes. They do dressy shoes too. Sure there's probably 100 styles in the shop. I got a pair for my wedding, cost about €120. Best 120 quid I ever spend! If you're doing a lot of walking, or standing around, get a pair!
I'm going to take a look at their sale, cheers OP!

And btw, i went to a dublin branch to get mine. They didn't have the style I wanted in my size. They told me Cork had them, so rang cork, paid over the phone and they posted them to me for a fiver.

I had a pair of shoes like in the OP for work (suit + tie). They were over £100 at the time but were the best / most comfortable work shoes I ever had. Lasted very well too. Must go have a looksy :)

Came accross this shop on Sunday when walking through the Ilac.
Was looking for a new pair of formal work shoes - picked up a nice pair for €65 - they had a good range and seemed to do 'normal sizes' (I'm a 42).

Ecco shoes are really comfortable and €65 is a real bargain.

Got a pair of ECCO biom walking shoes before going away on a weekend city break, which I knew would involve a lot of walking.

They are exellent. Light comfortable and really did the job. I would hate to think of the state my feet would have been in without them. Expensive enough but money well spent
