I have White LEDs in the number plate lights and the parking lights. Also yellow film over the fogs. Are these legal and will it pass the nct.

LED's aslong as they are white and not too blue, then yes, you should be ok.

Remember LED reg lights are standard on alot of cars now. the parking lights can be hit and miss depending on the layout of your headlight.

I brought the wife's car for its NCT in Portlaoise and forgot it had LED parking lights and the fella failed it because they were too white! Crazy but couldn't argue with him so went to halfords and stuck in ordinary lights and he passed it then.

Depends on the tester I'd say but if you don't want any hassle mabey stick in ordinary bulbs to be sure.

Thanks lads .... I think I will just stick in the standard ones for the nct to be safe.
