    Hi anyone know if PEEPs is on tomorrow in Tuam and if so what time and place. Thank you.

    PEEP is on Tuesdays in the Parish Centre on the Dublin Road and on Thursdays in the Education Centre in Chapel Lane. These sessions usually start at 10.00 but I think they are both starting earlier at 9.30 at the moment.

    ‘PEEP stands for Peers Early Education Partnership and is a birth to age five years programme that aims to contribute towards the improving the life chances of children. The Peep programme focuses on how to make the most of the learning opportunities in everyday life at home- listening, talking, playing, singing and sharing books everyday. Peeps supports parents & carers in their roles as the first educators of children....
    The aims of PEEP program
    1. To promote Parents & Carers awareness of children’s very early learning development through making the most of everyday actives & interactions
    2. To support Parents & Carers in their relationships with their children, so that the children’s self esteem will be enhanced
    3. To affirm the crucial role of parents & carers as the child’s first educator
    4. To support parents/carers in the development of their children’s literacy and numeracy
    5. To support parent/carers so that they can encourage the development of positive learning dispositions
    6. To promote and support parents and carers lifelong learning’
