Agree with this Dave O'Donoghue is the best lecturer for the F7 and F8 combination

I did passed F8 at DBS with Cormac Kavanagh, I thought he was really good.

Does anyone know if the BPP F7 course is good or would Dave O'Donoghue be the best lecturer in Dublin? I am resitting F7.
    Thanks

What variant of F7 are you all doing?
Would there be much of a difference between them? I failed F7 back in Dec 2008 and I was thinking about doing it through BPP distance learning.

Personally i think Dave in Independent is the best lecture... I had him for F7, F8 and am now going to try P7 with him... i find him excellent

I did Irish variant in F7, P2 and will be doing the Irish variant in P7 also..... not much of a difference a small amount of extra work but minimal IMO...

    :D

Dave O'Donoghue makes a very difficult subject easy to work at. He explains the content in an easily understood manner, he has a lecture plan set out for each lecture which includes the homework for the next day. I had him for F7 and F8 and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for any subject he is teaching

    Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if Leo Norris is a decent lecturer for F8? He's relatively new with BPP in Dublin.

I ask because I think I'll switch up to Dublin for the revision course as I have not learned a whole pile from the regular course classes and need to change this.

    thanks
    F

I am just starting with ACCA F7 and F8 will be my first lectures. Is Dave O'Donoghue at Independent Colleges still the best lecturer for both of these? They are a platinum approved college ACCA makes a big deal about this when you talk to them about the college to pick but does it matter?

DBS are a platinum college as well AFAIK. I did F7 with Dave and thought he was quite good. Does tend to go off on a tandum very often but he is quite funny and keeps his lectures interesting. His revision classes are very good.

I did F8 in DBS with Cormac Kavanagh. Was ok but not brilliant to be honest. I think your best bet is doing F7 and F8 with Dave. F8 can be really boring and I think he might keep you interested. I preferred the setup in independent rather DBS but thats just a personal thing.
