Hi, We did France for the first time last year in a camper with two kids. Had a ball. Got the discount camping card from campingcard.co.uk and used campsites affiliated with that.

I know your looking for mobile home/chalet instead but the site is a good way to see whats out there region by region. If u check out the campsites on the campingcard site first then throw the names of any ones u like into google you'll get the campsites own web page and u could book from there.

We were there in June and the best weather we got was in Bordeaux. Had been in the south east on the med for a week before that and it rained every day!
