Hi all, anyone ever gotten anything from dealextreme. Was looking at maybe taking a punt on this:

    http://www.dealextreme.com/p/2011-saxo-bank-team-bicycle-cycling-jersey-bib-shorts-set-size-xl-66606

Ok for that price it's obviously not genuine but might be worth it for the shorter evening spins. Only thing is sizing doesn't seem too there if you get me. Take this...

    - Suitable for height: 170~180cm, weight: 72~80kg
    - Chest girth: 120cm

Even at the heavier end of things, 80kg at 180cm a chest girth of 120cm seems quite loose to me. Anyone gotten one off them, what's it like?

Definitely not genuine but it's not too bad for short rides. I haven't these specifically but I bought some other cheap chinese. You have to be patient though with the shipping, can take looong time to arrive at your door.

I have dealt with Dealextreme for lights. Lights are great, but delivery was very slow.

Their knockoff gear is superficially OK. The chamois is surprisingly decent. The technical fabric, however, isn't - it doesn't wick moisture well at all, and you will be left with that soggy cotton feeling. Still, for thirty bills, etc.

Agree with previous poster - the lights are fantastic for the money.

My very genuine and expensive Saxo-Bank shorts ended up in the incinerator in Tallaght hospital.:(

Agreed, the lights are good value for the money but you can expect more than a month for delivery so you wouldn't want to be looking for them in a hurry.

You also need to jump through hoops to actually buy from them on-line - they need copies of utility bills, drivers livence, credit card etc... More than likely you will also get hit with duty and VAT, this seems to be most peoples' experience.

If it was me I would buy clothing closer to home, where it can be returned if there is a problem with the size. No matter how good the size charts are, there is always a good chance that there will be fitting issues.

Really? I've only ever paid by PayPal, took all of thirty seconds. Never hit by duty, though no order's been more than $50.

Agree on the unpredictable delivery times.

Delivery is patchy at best . Last light I bought took 7 weeks to arrive. Heard a great story recently about the replica HTC kit , the inserts in the shirts where soo poor of quality that they reduced the rider to tears on the first ride in the rain.

Also got stung recently for import duty on another product form our friends in the far east .

whats the sizings like. As I said looking at the ad's the size doesn't really go with the height and weight suggested.

I made the mistake of choosing to pay by credit card as opposed to by paypal!

was that ordering from the UK warehouse or china? I got a light last summer from the UK warehouse and it took about a week to get here. I want to order something else from them but it's going to come from China. Just wanted to know what to expect.
