Buying MBP online

Hi Lads, going to the states in April thinking I might have a look around for a MBP on craigslist or one of those sites. Any way of checking with a serial number whether a MBP is robbed? Should a system check uncover most faults or are there hidden issues to watch out for??

I wouldn't buy a second hand one tbh honest.
Why not buy a new one while you are over there ? You'll still save about 30% depending on the exchange rate
