spilled water on my laptop HELP!!

    Well earlier on today i spilled some water on my keyboard i didn't take much notice and just wiped it off but when i turned it on a few hours later some of the keys type random numbers and letters when typing can anybody help me please

    First check that the numlock button isn't on. If its off just switch the laptop off and pop the battery out, then let it dry out for 24 hours or so.

    Put in hot press, that should dry it out. As suggested in sticky.
