Lads anyone here have experience driving a diesel version of one of these? The 2010 model I would be interested in.

There are 3 diesel engines in the S60. 1.6, 2.0 and 2.4, which one?

Sorry should have made myself clearer. I would be interested in the 2.0, but wouldn't rule 2.4 out as an alternative option. Opinions?

Fcukin crackin car to drive. The 5 cylinder D3 feels more powerful than the 163bhp suggests, due to the torque.

Lovely and smooth on the motorway, with more than enough power to keep up with de young chaps in their Rice Rockets, and great fun to throw around the corners on back roads. Took an SE model from Drogheda to Johnstown - cross country, and had a blast. Huge amount of grip in the corners - didn't get any understeer, but the back end felt quite light when pushing.

Not many 2010's around in the new model, so if you are looking at one in particular it's either a UK import, or one of the demo models that the dealers got. Most of the demo models had quite a bit of spec thrown at them - either full leather on the SE's, or the Driver support pack. I'd take the driver support pack over the leather - thought the T-Tec seats were just a bit better than the leather for overall comfort, and the radar cruise control is brilliant.

Is there much of a difference between it and the S80. Would it be worth the money??
