Don't laugh but there's a guy on the 101 club forum who runs his V8 powered 101 on a wood fired producer gas system. :eek:

Don't know how many logs per mile it does but he's looking at doing a sponsored Lands End to John O'Groats trip next year. The system takes up the entire load bed but he's done it because he can and it's a fingers up to the oil companies etc. He's even applied to the DVLA for cheaper road tax, wonder how the VRO here would cope with that

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.
You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.
Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.
