    Friends

I'm posting advance notice of these events as a separate thread from the RC/Prot Debate thread. So I don't want to raise any of the issues on this thread, just to inform you all of the dates and times.

I have heard both speakers before. Rob was a very able advocate of the Evangelical understanding. Patrick I have not heard debating, but have heard him several times on TV and radio. I shared a radio program with him once and was struck by his evident sincerity. In fact, he was interviewed a day or so ago on TV on the conviction of a paedophile priest. Patrick was the key witness against the abuser, suffering abuse from him as a student for the priesthood. My heart went out to him and I greatly admire his courage and integrity.

I hope to get along to at least the Northern one - maybe the Dundalk one also.
