Gmail image width

    Hi all,

    We have embedded an image to send to friends in a gmail no problem. However, the image is too large. The image contains writing so it important it appears to be the right width / size.

    When you right click on the image in gmail and drag it the image becomes skewed. Holding down shift / ctrl or alt does not contrain its proportions as it would in photoshop. Changing the images original width in photoshop from a4 to a5 does not change the size of the image in gmail. Gmail's options for the image to be small / medium / large make the image too small to be read.

    We have searched online and all advise only refers to changing the pixel / mb size of the image which is not the issue.

    Basically the issue is can you constrain the proportions of an image in gmail or can you limit / custom the width of a gmail page?
