Looking for a winter training bike. Preferably something with carbon forks, Tiagra-ish groupset, low mileage, (Kèo pedals would be great too if possible 😜) Budget is around is fairly low as I've just bought a carbon roadie - round €400. Dublin area.

    Cheers

I have a 54cm Fondriest max carb . It has carbon forks and rear stays. It has an ultegra groupset except for the deraileurs which are dura ace . The bike has sat on the turbo for the last three winters . €450 will buy it without wheels or pedals . Can stick up some photos if you're interested .

Thanks for the offer but I'd prefer to get a complete bike for the money. €450 would be way too much for me without wheels - I'm a student :-/.

I'm selling a Campagnolo equipped bike, Aluminium frame with carbon seat stays:

It's 56cm, but has a 55cm top tube, and I've a shorter stem I could supply with it if that's any use? You're free to view it if you like.

Dolan are doing their Preffisio winter frameset for £200 including carbon forks, headset, seatpost and clamp. There are often second hand 105 groupsets here for €200 or so. Just an idea:). Maybe you could share some bits (e.g. wheels, saddle, pedals) from your good bike?

It's a Vitus alu frame with carbon seat stays and full carbon Deda fork both bought new last year. I built it up with all the bits I stripped off a Felt F95 ( my son's bike, also new last year, which I upgraded with a groupset from another bike).
None of it has had much use at all and looks pretty much like new.
I'd be prepared to sell it for 550 but not less.

Could you give me some details about the gruppo? Cassette, crank length etc.... Where are you based?

It's a mixture of bits- Microshift 9 speed shifter/brake levers, Tiagra rear mech, Sram Rival front mech, 9 speed 11-25 cassette, Chainset FSA Tempo 50/34 165mm cranks. Wheels - Alex rims on felt hubs.
Bars, stem and saddle concept from a Focus.
    Everything pretty much as new.
    I'm in Celbridge, Co. Kildare

Sounds good. Would you go to €475 pending inspection? I can come to you to view it. Hopefully sometime this week.

I didn't want to go below 550 (was going to advertise it for 650) but I guess we could negotiate. It's definitely worth a look and I'm here most of the time so if you'd like to pm me a phone number , I'll give you a call and we can arrange something.
