    Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone knew if your partner and child are covered on the GP Visit card? Just applied on line and it said I was entitled to one but it doesn't mention anything about my child.... she's the main reason I applied for one as had to hand out €225 this week on K Doc/GP visits and REALLY cant afford it :(

So do you know if she will be covered on my GP card or is it like a family card?

    Thanks!

no nobody is covered on the GP Visit card except the person named on the card. Also, nothing else apart from a visit to that particular surgery is covered, so no out of hours doc cover. I have a GP visit card, but neither my daughter or husband are covered.

Thanks a mill for reply.... I'll apply for one for the babs so! Its a bit ridiculous because the whole form will be irrelevant apart from the name, pps number and date of birth as she's only 8 months old!!

    Ah well!

If you have applied for a card and listed the details of your dependents, they should be included on the card when it is issued. If they aren't, contact them and ask for an explanation.
