Pushy sellers and trespassing?

On a fairly regular occurrence I will get pushy sellers at my door, I will tell them immediately, politely, I am not interested. Then if they keep speaking I'll say thanks I'm good. Most will keep talking and being extremely pushy. Sometimes they will try to get their foot in house so I can't close the door on them.

So my question is: if someone enters my property (outside my door) like this, once I tell them to leave are they trespassing if they remain on the property and can I call the gardai?

I don't open the front door.

People have to ring me to let me know they're at the door.
