I have €35K to spend on a company car..and I havent a clue what to look for. Thinking about Passat, Peugeot 508, Mondeo, Insignia.
    Any advice most welcome.

A nicely specced Passat TDI would be nice. I like them in black and on 17's. Next would be either the Peugeot 508 or Accord Tourer although they are rare.

Skoda Superb combi would be last choice for me personally unless you have a few kids/large bike etc.

Does it have to be one of the usual boringmobiles?

And who is paying for your tax and fuel?

2007 M6. You might not agree but you gave so few criteria, my suggestion is (nearly) as valid as everyone else's!

Some companies give you the option to buy the vehicle from the company after 3 or 5 yrs depending on the lease option.if you will have this chance pick a car with good resale such as the passatt and you could make a few quid in a few yrs by buying it at book value and selling it on..

I just bought a passat -second hand - and I'm very impressed with it, as previously said get a nice spec one and you will have a class motor without being another knob driving an Audi or Lexus :D or worse , a b m trouble u

Indeed, if for no other reason than the op might not like to have his BIK calculated based on the original price (which must have exceeded 100k) rather than current value. However, I was trying to encourage the op to give more hints, I did say "(nearly)"!!!

If I had the choice of a €35k car I would not be spending it on the two default choices of every sales rep in the country these days - the Passat or the Insignia. The only Passat I would consider is the CC because very few others will have one and they actually look decent from most angles.

Thats a nice one Bazz especially with the R line kit. I think they destroyed it with the new model though..

I'd buy an S60 if I had that money, but I'm probably on my own!

I am thinking about one as my next motor actually. They are beautiful and fairly rare compared to passats and the like.
