Cover letter for a job not advertised

I'm just looking for help on wording in a cover letter.

The industry I want to work in rarely advertise for jobs and it is more done on who you know...the only problem is I've already exhausted my contacts.

I know in a cover letter, the usual is to write in the first paragraph the job you are applying for and where it was advertised. I just can't come up with how to say "give me the job I know you have but are not advertising" I need help what to write after "My name is Ophiopogon, I have XX qualifications and experience"

Also, just wanted to know if you are applying for a job that you don't life near is there any value in actually saying in the cover letter that you are willing to move to the job or just leave it as implied?
