I need to set up email contact database outside of email program, so I can import if and when required (also edit). I have Thunderbird & Windows Mail Should I set it up in Excel (saving as a .csv file) or Access - or are there other options. Advise would be appreciated - many thanks.

If you want to use mail merge then access would be a better choice, but excel would also work fine
