A mate of mine had a 3.5 tonne hanix. It was a 96 and he only sold it awhile ago. Never had a major problem, good strong well built machine.

ok thanks, this is a 01 hanix 5ton not 4ton as thought at first with 3 buckets and in good condition, he is looking €8000 for it, not sure if they make nearwhat a hitachi would in price but what you think of that price

Well my mate got €7000 for his,see if he will go lower then €8000. If he doesn't it still seems like a decent price if my mate got €7000 for a 96 3.5 tonne.

hi, if you mate got 7k for a '96 3.5t, this seems very cheap for a 01, 5t at 8k, this is rubber tracked too

your mate's must have been in ex condition with good few buckets

Yes,it had 3 buckets. It was a top quality machine. The hanix seems a good strong mini digger. Couldn't fault it.
