need some 1gb ddr ram donations

hi guys

my boss asked me to dump a load of old dell optiplex 170L (7x) plus an old hp compaq m230dt, but i managed to fix all of them and plan to donate them all (with my boss's approval) to a school that teaches kids & adults with all sorts of disabilities ranging from autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, blindness, deafness, and many other forms of mental and physical disabilities.

ive fixed all 8 pcs and have xp running on them but each of them only have 512mb ddr pc2700 ram on them.

each pc is capable of taking 2gb ram (2x 1gb pc2700 or pc3200)

also i need keyboards and mice (ps/2 or usb) and monitors (crt or lcd) and 40gb or better IDE hard disks if ye have any.

i live in dublin and can collect.

if ye have any old pc parts that still function ok that would work in these pcs that ye dont need would ye be so kind as to donate them to me so i can have these pcs ready to donate to the school in 2 weeks time?

the school concerned is http://www.deltacentre.org/ based in carlow town.

I've 3 PS/2 keyboards, 1 PS/2 mouse, a 512MB stick of DDR PC2100 and a 256MB stick of DDR PC2100, if they're any good to you

And if you're short an ethernet / sound / graphics / modem card, I'm sure I can throw them in too

I'm in Lucan, about 5 minutes drive from the M50

Hopefully someone will give you some LCD monitors, if not, I think I know someone who has a few CRTs to spare

cool i can take the mouse and keyboards and graphics card... wont need the soundcard or modem as they all got inbuilt sound and they will be networked and get net from the school's broadband connection.

ideally i'd like lcd screens but crt's will do as well

Great idea, unfortunately don't have any spare DDR RAM, I will have a spare DDR2 module soon. I have autism myself (Aspergers) and its a great thing for people like me to get using computers, many people with those conditions love computers and are naturally good with them.

I've 2xPC2 6400 1gb ddr2 dimms if they're any use to you. Also a 21" Crt that's getting dumped soon. I might have a couple of nics but they might have gone in the skip already.

I have about 20 x 17" CRT screens,i reckon never used since 5 years ago...
I am running a clean-up this wednesday/thursday,let me know if it suits !

Whatever other stuff is there,cables,keyboards,possible are ok,not sure due to health issues...

just found 2 more dell pcs here in work... one is a p4 2.5ghz has a 512mb (1gb max) ram in it... ill setup this one for the school as a scanner/printer sharing pc i think.

the other is also a p4 dimension 4400 with 512mb ram but upgradeable to 1gb i think but i have to set it up to see what exactly is on it.

had a rumage around my parent's house and found a few keyboards and mice... some ram though not much and a graphics card that will work in one pc.
