    Hi all,

    Just a quick question.
My pc died recently and I got a second hand one now. However, when I plug in the headphones, they don't seem to work. The speakers work fine and the headphones are working as they are fine when used with the ps3.

I was wondering is there a setting somewhere that needs to be enabled to allow the headphones to work?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Ted.

if its a realtek audio chipset you will need to boot into the bios and set the front panel audio setting to ac'97 mode cos the headphones wont work in HD audio mode.
