clicking hard disk?

    Hi,

    Hard disk is making a clicking noise, doesnt sound good.
    Do ya reckon its **** itself?
    Anyone any genius ideas to bring it back to life? :)

    If it's clicking loud or unusually, it is probably dying or deceased.

    If possible, try and get all data you can off it and onto a reliable drive as soon as possible. But even then, you've got backups of any really important data that might be on it. Right?

    I do indeed, theres a few things on it id like but not too pushed if i cant retrieve. I bought a cheap external drive and tried it on that but its clicking in that also! Shes a gonner i think:)
