As Ive no idea what type of handbrake system is on the landcruisers, I dont know if the rear calipers are push back or wind back?
Have a set of pads to put on the back so Id like to know if I need a wind back tool. Its a 03 onwards landcruiser.

I am 99% sure they have a drum type arrangement inside the rear disc for the handbrake and as a result the caliper pistons just push back.

I hope I am right now! We do look after a few of those Landcruisers but I don't usually actually do the work on them myself. I don't like working on 4x4s in general so I usually delegate the jobs on those :D

Ya, fairly sure they have the inboard drums built into the discs and that the calipers just do the footbrake
