Watched a few of the promos and it looks like a twilight zone head**** kinda episode. Looking forward to this one.

Weird episode... more like a Twilight Zone nod than a real episode. It was actually good in a character development way, but not an amazing episode as far as the overall story goes. In a world where we were certain that there would be a 5th season I would have enjoyed this more...

EDIT: didn't read the OP first re: twilight zone; great minds and all that :P

Very good episode again this week though a little on the drawn out side.

The merged people were rather freaky, especially that guy at the end.

Decent, but not the best. The sleepy, creepy town has been done plenty of times before, kinda like when Star Trek do a 'stuck in the holodeck' episode, but tbf, it kept the character development ticking over.

I did lol at Walter's announcement over the school PA system. :D

I loved the look and their faces when Walter had forgotten to tell Olivia that her blood was normal.

My favourite bit was when they mentioned the episode with the monster people cause it had been bouncing around in my head ever since they were in the scene of the disturbance.

It's starting to look like the concept of this being actually a different set of parallel universes may not be correct though... it's as if the memories of Peter are "bleeding" back into both Walter and Olivia.

great episode, not really a standalone episode, it did push the story along massively, DRJ plan is being unveiled, but to what end isnt exactly apparent yet, is that area now like the room where the machine is, both universes existing together in one place,

and it looks like what we were talking about last week with this being our universe is bang on the money, when olivia was on about that town with the deformed people i knew straight away that peters influence on our universe is bleeding back in, what i cant wait to see is what the observers are gonna do about it,

whats there end game, do they care if olivia dies like september does or what, would have liked to known more on what he/their up to,

Hmm. On the one hand, if two universes can merge, why can't four? Perhaps a scenario where two running more historically side by side can merge more gracefully than two running historically divergent.

On the other, I always preferred the idea that there are only the two universes, and what we are seeing here is just an alternate history of those. Since the only differences between the original timeline and this one that we are seeing now is the fact that Peter was removed perhaps history is slowly readjusting itself to the original since he is back.

I loved it. Thought it was going to be a 'fotw' (Fringe of the week) but there was loads of character development. It's seemed pretty clear that it was Peter's timeline merging with this timeline, rather than the other universe. Weird that it effected Olivia and not Walter, though i suppose both Walters are pretty similar. And maybe how well Peter and Walter are getting along (as commented on by Olivia) is because of the merging?

The question is, which is the original Universe. If it wasn't for September stepping in and saving Peter, he would have died. So the 'correct' universe is the one we are seeing now.

this is and always has been our universe, the only difference this season is that when the observers erased peter from existense things changed slightly, some people were different because they were who they were cause they had peter in there life, but without peter there different scenarios played out,

what seems to be happening now is that peters influence is slowly bleeding back into the universe and the people are changing back to the way they were when peter was always in the universe, ALA walter happily leaving his lab, and olivia recalling missions that she never had, and her kissing peter,
