Licence eligibility after the interview

    Hi folks,

just wondering if anyone knows if there is a limit to how long you can go without taking an excavation licence out and still be eligible.
I did the interview right after my first child was born and have been at home with the kids for the last almost 4 years. Trying to get back to work but not sure if my licence is still valid. Couldn't find any info on the Department's website.
    Thanks in advance,
    m_f

To the best of my knowledge there is no limit on it, once you have passed the interview you are licence eligible. They can refuse a licence for an individual job but I doubt they would do so on the basis of the director not having been on site for a while.....sure that's everyone these days! I have had gaps of up to 3 years between licences so I'd say you're fine....tough business these days mind, good luck!
