"Your mobile number has won £900.000 GBP in the Apple iPhone Survey. Send claim Code to email applebb@blumail.org"

What scam is this? I suppose everyone got this text? My phone is a Vodafone.

Send me $100, I'll do a background check on the company.
    Could be a scam.

It's the scam where they pretend to be Apple and tell you you've won £900,000. When you email your claim code to them it automatically attaches your kidneys to the email so they can be sold on the black market.

They can give £900K away but can only afford to sign up to a free email service?

    Seems legit, go for it!

If you're not going to use it, could you pm me the code?

Could really do with some cash.

    Thx

Be careful that your phone doesn't turn into a snob and move to a nice country without you.

Remind it that if it wasn't for you it would be collecting dust on a shelf back at the shop.

What a coincidence, received this message before lunch.

"You have won 750,000 in the USA Blackberry Mobile Promo. For claims email code US*31 to usa@bbcclaimagent .com"

PS i inserted * as first digit just to make that nobody tries to claim my prize before they process my bank account details in order to lodge the money.

So now I have quit my job and I am on a plane over to the USA to pick up my prize. How lucky can one guy be

Why do people still think there is anything vaguely interesting in posting their spam or phishing messages?

I've gotten a couple of texts from nl@bbcclaimagent.com telling me I've won stuff. I wish to hell that my phone had a function to block spam.

086 8042249 Usually they hide the phone number, seemed a bit odd.

They are clearly trying to save money so they can give more of it away in prizes.
