Hoping altor or KK can step in here. Had a "vt battery fault "and a "sensor main req" message also in my house. Killed elec supply to CP and keypad died so replaced the 12v 7a battery; so far so good. Powered back up the system, and all was well. Tested and working fine. Today, the flashing orange on the keypad is back.

Manual indicated smoke detectors need cleaning. Removed both ( anticlockwise 1/4 turn to release ). Dismanted and seemed fine. RepLaced and error gone allowing system to be set again. What do you folks reckon ?

Also noticed that there ar two leds in the detectors. Should these (either of hem ) be on during normal operation as a visual indicator?

Should i be looking smewhere else ?

    Thans guys:o

If you cleaned out the detectors & error message is gone there all is good,
LED lights on activation to indicate which detector activated the fire alarm. This goes off again when you reset fire.
