Renualt Clio Help Please

    im going buy a renualt clio my question the owner said the handbook said it a 1ltr, i viewed the car and on the side of it, it said 1.2, i went to Axa to check insureance and put in the reg and got 2000, RENAULT CLIO LIBERTE, 1149cc
    what size engine is it? Axa would never be wrong like they know all cars by reg like help please

    Then it looks like it is a 1149cc as once you put the reg in(for insurance quote) it can tell any cc of any car think hes having you on to be honest.

    Yes its a 1.2. The cc of every car is rounded up or down to the nearest single decimal, depending on what suits the manufacturer. Clio's have been 1.2 since 1992
