window + insurance

    The side window of my car got broke this eve. Is this covered by standard insurance.

    If not is there much to fitting them if I sourced one

    Depends on the level of cover you have, if it's fully comprehensive it's covered, if you have third pary fire and theft it may be there as an optional extra but if you just have third party it won't be.

    If it was as a result of a theft or attempted theft then its covered.

    If you have windscreen cover then it could be covered. Generally windscreen cover covers all Windows except sun roofs however you would need to check your own policy for a definitive answer to that.
